FREE Resource: Three Kinds of Thesis Statements for Literary Analysis
What my students are trying tomorrow!
My 8th graders are writing a for-real literary analysis essay on Hamlet. (I’m feeling wild and crazy this time of year.)
Tomorrow, we’re revising thesis statements ahead of any drafting. So, I went on a hunt for three different kinds of thesis statements that would make their literary analysis more sophisticated and nuanced.
Here it is! Enjoy! Let me know if it’s helpful for you and your students!
I’m going to be planning this whole unit in front of you in our upcoming webinar if you’re interested in joining us! (You can join just the single webinar or the whole planning series bundle!)
OMG! We are doing this today and revising tomorrow! Thank you!!!!
This is SO awesome! Do you have something like this for kinds of THEME statements? (I know... kinda the same, but thought I'd check!)
