What we did and what it looked like

I love the downward slope of the last quarter of the year — the time where it feels like any work and any learning is a miracle.

My seventh graders finished up a whole-class novel and are beginning a genealogy writing project. My eighth graders are writing literary analysis about Hamlet, a high-wire act for the end of the year for sure.
