I have officially segued this week from “I’ve got plenty of time” to “Holy crap! Time’s up! I’ve done nothing!” You’d think 19 years later, the end of the year wouldn’t be a constant shock, but it is. Every time.
These last two weeks have wrapped up an executive skills reading unit (shared with you last weekend!), started a graphic novel book clubs unit (which will double as mentor texts in our graphic novels writing unit soon!), and dived headfirst into a fantasy-writing unit I’m doing with the brilliant Carl Anderson and my 8th graders.
