What we did + what it looked like

These weird weeks between Thanksgiving and Winter Break are my favorites. Even though first semester doesn’t end for us until mid-January, I love the feeling of completion at the end of the calendar year and at the beginning of a nice, deep breath for a couple weeks.

This week, I began teaching my new winter elective: a NaNoWriMo stretched out over a trimester. (Just in time, too! I also finished teaching two of my colleague’s 8th grade geography classes.)
