Hello, friends!
Happy New Year!
To be honest, 2025 has come in like a lion. I have not yet returned to school because our city (Richmond, Virginia) has been without water for the last five days! That by itself has been a serious bit of chaos.
But on top of that, my family has had some hard 2025 updates. If you’ve been around a bit, you might remember that my husband was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer three years ago. This week, he started hospice.
So, here’s what this means for you:
I don’t have any new content to share with you at this moment, but I am well on my way to finishing a Guide to Authentic Research in the Modes, which I’m sharing with you as a January unit. You will receive it this weekend.
You will receive ALL your normal January content in the month of January, though perhaps on a slightly different timeline than usual: Q&A, Instadigests, etc.
If you are waiting for the January webinar on Teaching Authentic Research in the Modes, that is coming! You will receive it by January 20 at the latest.
I really appreciate your patience, your understanding, and your flexibility. Working for you and with you is one of my greatest joys. (I just need another minute or two to fully get my act together.)
More from me soon.
With love,
Rebekah
Please take care of you and your family during this difficult time. Sending you love and prayers to get through this! Please take your time. Your content and wisdom is great, and we love it, but we all understand that there are much more important things for you to focus on right now.
I can't imagine a single person would expect your time, energy and attention to be anywhere but with your family right now. Sending so much love to you in this deeply difficult time. Full permission to push pause on anything that doesn't allow you to be fully present for yourself and your husband.
